Skill descriptions
In the Skills tab, tap a category row to open it. Inside, each skill has a bold name followed by a short, multi-paragraph explanation of what is happening for your child and why it matters.
CALMING & CO-REGULATION
The long, spacious instrumental is a downshift. When the vocals stop and the music keeps going, the body slows with it.
Slow-tempo music measurably decreases cortisol and heart rate. For transitions, sensory breaks, and bedtime wind-down, this song is a built-in tool.
EF pill
A small EF badge next to a skill name means it is an Executive Function skill — the brain's core skills for learning, working memory, self-control, and flexible thinking. A short *EF glossary line appears at the bottom of every Skills tab as a reminder.
